How many photographs will I receive?

You will receive at least 50 edited photographs per hour of photography coverage. For an 8 hour wedding, you can expect between 400-600 edited, high resolution photographs, delivered digitally.

Is a permit required for weddings and elopements at Joshua Tree National Park?

Yes, a $120 permit is required. You will want to apply for the permit well before the day of your ceremony because they can take a while to process. I can assist you in the permitting process.

How long will it take to get my photographs?

For Joshua Tree weddings and Elopements, photographs are usually delivered within four weeks, with a handful of selected photographs delivered within 24-48 hours for social media purposes. The high resolution photographs will be delivered to you in an attractive gallery format that you are able to download from and share with friends and relatives. You can also order prints, photobooks, and other photographic products directly from your gallery.

You will be given the remaining edited, high-resolution photographs in an attractive, downloadable and sharable gallery within four weeks after the event.

What kind of gear do you use?

It is the photographer that is responsible for creating the image, not the equipment they use. With that said, sometimes professional results require professional gear, whether it's due to reliability, redundancy, or technical performance. I use Canon EOS R6 Mark II and R8 bodies and Canon EL-5 Speedlites. For lenses, I use the Canon RF 24-105mm F2.8 L IS USM Z, the Canon RF 70-200mm f/2.8 L IS USM, the Canon RF 16mm f/2.8 STM, the Sigma 105mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art Lens, and the Sigma 40mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art Lens. I also use an iPhone 15 Pro Max for social media content creation upon request.
